The women’s team headed off to Lake Placid, NY for USCSA Nationals 2016! Competitors were Georgia Toal (Sr), Lindsay Allison (So), Maddie Hayes-Lattin (Fr), and Lauren Maymar (Fr). Conditions were reminiscent of spring skiing, yet the competition was still fun. The ladies pulled off a 14th place finish in Slalom and held their own in the Dual Slalom!
Taking 2nd place at regionals (behind SNC) at Mammoth Mountain, the women’s team will be heading to Lake Placid, NY for Nationals March 6-12. More details of events on the race schedule page.

**Must qualify at Regionals to advance to Nationals. Typically the top 2 or 3 teams depending on number of teams in our region advance as well as the top individual of each gender not on a qualifying team. UPDATE: Women’s Team qualified for Nationals!

Finals are appraoching, the snow’s melted and classes are out. So Peter Smillie and Will Dong hauled out the “bad idea on wheels” for some nighttime and daytime training sessions at the Y2E2 parking lot. Check out some photos.
