Stanford Qualifies for 2017 USCSA Nationals!

Congratulations to the women’s team (Lindsay Allison, Maddie Hayes-Lattin, Lauren Maymar and Kate Wang) and to Nicholas Barbier for qualifying for USCSA nationals! Our ladies have continued their nationals qualification streak, and Nicholas has earned his long-deserved chance to represent Stanford on the national stage.

All five of these skiers have been putting in impressive performances all season, and skied strong races at today’s regional championships. The women’s team beat out University of Nevada Reno and 5 other teams to place second (behind national champions Sierra Nevada College), and Nicholas edged out many other strong racers to become our league’s individual representative at USCSA nationals.

We look forward to sending Lindsay, Maddie, Lauren, Kate, and Nicholas to Mt. Bachelor from March 7th-11th to represent Stanford at USCSA Nationals!
Let the #R2N begin!

Nationals 2016

The women’s team headed off to Lake Placid, NY for USCSA Nationals 2016! Competitors were Georgia Toal (Sr), Lindsay Allison (So), Maddie Hayes-Lattin (Fr), and Lauren Maymar (Fr). Conditions were reminiscent of spring skiing, yet the competition was still fun. The ladies pulled off a 14th place finish in Slalom and held their own in the Dual Slalom!
